17-22 March is SA Library Week - National Celebrations kick off on 15 March in the Skukuza Rest Camp in the Kruger Park - No Branch event is planned.

Conferences and Workshops
6-8 May - Second Annual Knowledge, Archives and Records Management Conference (KARM 2008)
- The Conference offers paper and several training workshops

3-4 June - Management and Leadership Workshop (reduced fee for LIASA members - prices and venues will be announced - maximum 25 delegates)

16-17 July - Interlibrary Loans Workshop (reduced fee for LIASA members - prices and venues will be announced - maximum 25 delegates)

5-6 August - Authority Control Workshop (reduced fee for LIASA members - prices and venues will be announced - maximum 25 delegates)

Branch Meetings
7 March - Nirvana Library
6/7/8 May - Polokwane (venue will be announced, but it coincides with the KARM Conference)
5 Sept - AGM (venue will be announced)

The National LIASA Conference takes place in Cape Town from 6-10 Oct, but the National Schools and Youth Libraries Interest Group meets on 4 Oct in Cape Town.

Please send us your contributions. Anyone promoted, resigned, transferred, graduated??? - We want to know. We also welcome pictures in Jpeg format. Advertising rates will be announced shortly.
