Invitation to Western Cape LIASA's End-of-Year Recruitment Breakfast

LIASA Western Cape presents its annual End-of-Year Recruitment Breakfast.

Join us in this annual fun event where we announce the LIASA WC Branch Award winner, hand out prizes, honour achievers for the year and provide an opportunity for networking in a relaxed environment. This is also an opportunity to renew your membership before the early bird expiry date.

This year we are very pleased that author Margie Orford will be joining us to share her thoughts about writing and libraries. Margie says she is a great fan of librarians, especially those who support South African writers.

In keeping with our annual tradition, we will honour our colleagues who have excelled over the past year, including the Western Cape Branch Librarian of the Year, Ingrid Thomson, who recently placed third in the LIASA Librarian of the Year Award. We will be handing over Ingrid’s trophy and certificates at the Breakfast and invite you to share in her achievement. We will also celebrate the Branch having received the President's Award for Best Performing Branch for the second year in a row!

But there's more...we will also be awarding the LIASA Western Cape Branch Award this year. Now in its sixth year, come and celebrate with the recipient of this award when we announce the 2010 winner.
