Biblionef is a dynamic National N.G.O. with its office in Cape Town the aim of which is to promote a love of reading among children.

FUNDING DEVELOPMENT/PUBLIC RELATIONS MANAGER- 20 hrs per week

The primary responsibility is to spearhead the organisation’s fundraising initiatives so as to diversify the resource base of Biblionef. He/she works to ensure that Biblionef activities and infrastructure are properly funded and promoted.

Key Responsibilities include:
Fundraising
Developing and implementing a fundraising strategy
Preparing and refining proposals
Designing and implementing fundraising drives
Preparing reports to donors
Managing the Funding Database
Public Relations, including Maintenance of the Website, and preparation of
Annual Report and Newsletters

Candidates should have completed Fundraising and PR training and have relevant experience

Monthly Salary : R 6000-00 to R7000-00 for 20 hours per week

Candidates should:
Have a drivers licence
Be computer literate, including in Pastel
Communicate well
Be able to operate effectively as part of a team
Be a self starter and be able to work independently

LOGISTICS CO-ORDINATOR- BOOKS- Fulltime

Biblionef, a dynamic National N.G.O. with its office in Cape Town the aim of which is to promote a love of reading among children.

The primary responsibility is to take full logistical control of Biblionef book stock, and of other material stock, and undertake and supervise book related administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities include:
Book Stock Control
Dealing with the Book requests from organisations
Creating invoices
Supervise the Receipt and dispatch of books
Supervise the storage of stock
Driving when necessary

Candidates should:
Have a relevant experience of managing books
Speak English and at least one African language, apart from Afrikaans
Be able to manage staff
Have a drivers licence
Be computer literate, including in Pastel
Communicate well
Be able to operate effectively as part of a team
Be a self starter and be able to work independently

Monthly Salary: R 6 000-00 to R6750-00
