We are pleased to announce that the Department of Arts and Culture has made funding available to sponsor 80 grants for Librarians and Library Workers from Community and Public Libraries to attend the LIASA Annual Conference. This generous sponsorship is made possible from the Department’s Conditional Grant.
The Conference will be held from 28 September to 1 October 2010 at the St George Hotel and Conference Centre in Centurion, Gauteng.
The grant will cover registration fees only and the successful applicants must make their own arrangements regarding travel and accommodation.
The closing date for the application process is Friday 17 September 2010 at 12:00.
Successful candidates will be notified by no later than Tuesday 21 September 2010.
