EARLY WARNING!!! LIBRARY MANAEGMENT AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT TRAINING IN JANUARY 2009
In its ongoing efforts to address Continuing Education and Professional Development (CEPD), LIASA is committed to the provision of high quality training programmes for its members. A partnership initiative with SABINET has enabled LIASA to offer a dynamic 2-day Library Management and Leadership Development Programme at all its branches during the course of 2008/9. This intensive two-day programme designed in conjunction with CBM Training will enable managers, supervisors and leaders with a wealth of valuable information and practical skills for use in improving the way they handle and manage others. This initiative has now come to the Western Cape Branch and the programme details are as follows:

Venue: Conference room 1, New library building, CPUT Library, Bellville campus
Target Audience: Middle Managers and those with management potential
Cost: LIASA members - R600.00; Non-LIASA members - R900.00
