Due to circumstances beyond the control of LIASA, the bulk mailing of the December 2007 LIASA-in-Touch was not delivered to members by the Post Office. The consignment seems to have disappeared once it had reached the Post Office. It seems that many members did not receive their copies through the mail. The matter is under investigation.
We wish to apologize for the inconvenience and disappointment that the non-delivery caused members. We were looking forward to the issue ourselves with the various report backs and members' impressions on the IFLA/WLIC conference.
Usually, we only place the cover and the first page showing the Table of contents on the LIASA website as a way to alert members to the new issue and to indicate that the issue is on its way. However, because of the circumstances, we have put up the entire December 2007 issue on the webpage for your perusal. The link is here
