[IFLA-L] Final Reminder - Essay contest to cover Bursary/Registration to IFLA Quebec

ESSAY CONTEST

ACADEMIC AND RESEARCH LIBRARIANS OPPORTUNITY TO APPLY FOR FREE REGISTRATION

IFLA World Library and Information Congress
74th IFLA Conference and Council
"Libraries without borders: Navigating towards global understanding"
10-14 August 2008, Québec, Canada

The Academic and Research Libraries Section of IFLA is offering four free registrations for academic and research librarians for the 2008 IFLA Congress.

Two free registrations are for librarians from Africa and
Two free registrations are for librarians from Latin America.

Applicants must be able to attend the conference and will be responsible for all other costs associated with conference attendance.

To apply, send an essay of not more than 500 words (One single spaced page).

Please place your contact information on a separate page or include complete address in your email.

Essay content should describe your general current and future interests and activities and specifics on why attending IFLA would benefit you.

Your essay must be received by April 5, 2008.
